LAUNCHING THE OWO Residences BY RAFFLES

This summer marked a pivotal milestone for The OWO as we launched sales of The OWO Residences by Raffles.

“The OWO Residences in the heart of London’s Whitehall provide a turnkey lifestyle within a new world-class culinary destination not yet experienced in the UK, set within a building of remarkable eminence,” says Charlie Walsh, Head of Residential Sales.

The OWO is one of the most significant restoration projects in Europe; described by The Sunday Times as “London’s Finest Hour”. The site has evolved from the former Palace of Whitehall and home to King Henry VIII and other British monarchs to the home of Britain’s Ministry of Defence in 1906 where protagonists including Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming, and TE Lawrence walked its corridors.

Now reborn as “The OWO”, this exceptional property with a “history as rich as that of any home in the world” becomes a unique destination and legacy for future generations.

Residents have exclusive use of over 30,000 square feet of private leisure and amenity spaces, including a 16-seat cinema for private screenings, a games room equipped with a pool table and bar to entertain friends and family, multiple lounges, and meeting spaces, and a private dining room. With a flagship Raffles Hotel on the doorstep, residents are also provided with access to the hotel’s 20m swimming pool and vitality pool and 11 restaurants and bars.

His leadership and unique skillset will ensure an unrivalled level of service for both residents and hotel guests.

SUMMER PROGRESS

Behind the hoarding surrounding the building, contractor Ardmore has continued good progress throughout the summer months with construction completing end of 2022, and residents moving in early 2023. The task of transformation on this scale is unmatched, with additional subterranean floors to accommodate the ballroom, swimming pool and private parking. The façade works are nearing completion, with the original Portland stone restored to its former beauty.

RESIDENCES

HOMES WITHOUT EQUAL

Each of the 85 residences are underway and have started to take shape as homes. Our most notable advancements can be seen in the recent fitout of our second floor residences, where vaulted ceilings, finely-grained ornate mouldings and architrave detailing have been carefully restored to grace the new interiors.

HOTEL

WORLD-CLASS AMENITIES

The 20-metre swimming pool and 5-metre vitality pool within the spa are taking shape as an immersive and relaxing retreat for future hotel guests and residents. The restoration of the external façade of Raffles London at The OWO continues, with scaffolding progressively moving around The OWO towards Whitehall Place. As the scaffolding is removed, the building’s impressive scale is revealed.
